Introduction:
We have designed and implemented a huge variety of databases and applications for both Commercial and Government users. The McClair Team has designed and developed applications for the mining, construction, retail, sales, and real estate industries. We specialize in Java, Java Script, PHP, IDX, HTML, and Silver Light.
The Process:
Our approach, whether a small project or large, is to follow what we call the Project Life Cycle. The Project Life Cycle is comprised of the following phases: Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Implementation, and Long-Term Support. We follow this cycle because it is a process, the process yields consistent results.
Past Projects:
The McClair Team has designed, developed, and implemented dozens of projects. Past projects range in size from 1 to 40,000 users. These projects have delivered capabilities in the following areas: tracking of Defense Materials, Parking System, Point of Sales, Estimation System, Raffle System, Mine Ventilation, and an Inventory System.
For the Department of Defense, we performed analysis, design, and development for a Parking System. The application tracks the members holding a parking permit.
For the Insulation industry, McClair Computer Solutions developed an estimation database and application that performs square footage estimation. It allows for the creation of a project and tracks that project from the estimate to full payment by the Customer.
The McClair Team has developed several WordPress Plug-Ins for a variety of needs.
For a Fire Department, the McClair Team developed a database and application that generated raffle tickets. This application utilized a bar code scanner. It generated a unique bar code for each ticket, generated a printable ticket, and printed the mailing label or the ticket.
For a Mine Ventilation company, the McClair Team made major modifications to their existing program. We added the capability to “twist” the mine shaft. Additionally, the Team allowed for the setting of variables such as the number of people in the mine shaft, to determine its affect on air supply in the mine shaft.
